42/25 Merlot 2019 by Midalidare Estate presents an old, well-established variety in an interesting and exciting way, emphasizing the local terroir.

The wine is characterized by very good expressiveness, stated by its alluring purple color, and at the same time offers a gentle, silky experience for the senses.

The aroma is dominated by vanilla and dark chocolate complemented by expressive fruit nuances of fresh sour cherry, pomegranate, blackcurrant, black cherry and berries. They are accompanied by developing notes of dried fruit, floating in a cloud of fine lilac aroma.

Expressive sour cherry, black cherry, pomegranate and blackcurrant conquer the palate followed by tender vanilla on a spicy canapé of chocolate, mocha and prunes.

Very good, expressive wine with excellent value for money.
