Prisoe Signature Chardonnay Barrel 2019 is a wine produced in the Danube plain and represents in an exceptional way the local terroir in a limited line of 1360 bottles. 

Its hay color is in perfect sync with the fresh fruit notes with an emphasis on yellow apple, white mulberry, nectarine and strong nuances of exotic fruits – pineapple, mango, overripe banana, followed by intensifying with the development in the glass aromas of passion fruit and papaya. The fruity notes are wrapped in intense notes of white chocolate, butter, coffee and vanilla, which conquer the senses from the very first moment. Flower notes of linden, lavender and chestnut add on complexity. 

The light minerality available in the aroma is strongly expressed in the taste and is complemented by a pleasant and caressing creamy taste on the palate, followed by hazelnut notes and the exotic of mango, papaya and passion fruit. The taste is very fresh with balancing notes of sweet citrus – sweet orange juice, sweet vanilla, white chocolate and fleshy medlar. The floral and herbal notes are also present in the taste, with St. John’s wort leading, followed by linden and lavender. 

Excellent wine with exceptional character and demonstrating a very high level of complexity.
