Ilaya Mavrud Premium Reserve 2016 by Manastira winery is a wine that carries the interesting terroir of Sredna Gora.

The wine demonstrates remarkable character, brought initially forward by its exciting cherry color. The aroma and taste stand out with marked spiciness expressed by savory and black pepper. The aroma is powerful and saturated with predominant notes of mulberry marmalade, sour cherry, black cherry and developing over time plum. It is ennobled by fine nuances of delicate vanilla, caramel and develops towards fresh cherry and cocoa beans.

The taste is even spicier with complementary notes of green pepper and cardamom, but at the same time distinctive freshness of lime juice and tangerine juice, which are balanced by mature and strongly dominant plum, raisin and cocoa.
