Bononia Estate Istar Cabernet Franc 2018 is a wine produced in the Danube Plain that impresses by its elegance, excellent balance and light ruby color.

The nose is dominated by aromas of tobacco, leather and sweet vanilla that compete with fruity notes of raspberry and strawberry, which become more intensive with the development in the glass and harmonize with the coffee, cacao, dark chocolate and forest floor finish. The gently hinted spiciness of black pepper in the aroma provides additional complexity. It is very well expressed in the taste and dominates it together with the tobacco. The taste is very fine and gentle and it is complemented by fresh fruity notes of strawberry, raspberry and ethereal lilac nuances.

This is a wine with character that represents the Cabernet Franc as it develops in this very specific local terroir.
